# Home kitchen and cottage food label rules

Every jurisdiction asks a label to carry the same seven things: the product name; every ingredient heaviest first; the major allergens; who made it; how to reach them; the date; and usually a statement that the kitchen is not inspected. Only the last one varies by region.
