Miss. Code Ann. 75-29-951. Cottage food operations are EXEMPT from MSDH permitting, and MSDH does not inspect them unless a complaint is filed. Annual gross sales of cottage food products may not exceed $35,000. Products may be sold only within Mississippi, direct from producer to final consumer. Non-potentially hazardous foods only: baked goods, jams, jellies, acidified foods; acidified-food producers are strongly encouraged to get process training. Other label elements (business name and address, product name, ingredients in descending order by weight, net weight or volume, federal allergen and nutrition labeling) come from the statute, not from the source I fetched.
